All of our groves are organic. Our aim is to respect the beauty of the land we farm and to live in harmony with nature. We can only live up to that credo by being organic.

Organic farming means a lot of extra work. We have to take more care pruning and make sure we keep the grove tidy and the grass cut to ward off diseases. We also need to keep an eye on the pesky bugs that sometimes try to get into the ripening olives – this might mean harvesting a bit earlier, when the oil content of the fruit is lower.

Without the addition of growth-enhancing chemicals, organic farmers tend not to get the big yields that large commercial growers do. But organic farming presents a classic case of quality over quantity. The yields might be lower, but you know every molecule you are eating is 100% natural.
